My two-color block print was inspired by my niece. She loves giraffes so I thought I would have my animal be a giraffe. She also loves the color pink and blue, so I wanted to put those colors in my prints. When I first started drawing the giraffe, I realized l had made it pretty symmetrical, that is why I chose the environment that I did. The tree branches surround the giraffe and it looks almost the same on each side. Although it does look almost the same, each branch is different and has a different amount of leaves on it. same with the giraffe, it looks almost identical on each side, but there are differences. My print is balanced with it being symmetrical but still having those differences on each side.
